EL MØNTE TEEPEE
El Mønte is owned by Mateo Paez, a Colombian photographer who has made sure every inch of this place is perfectly composed. It is 20 minutes form Chingaza, 10 from Encenillos and another (small) number of minutes from 12 other reservations. Andres manages El Mønte. He has beautiful eyes and makes for great company while siting by the fire.
JARDIN COLIBRI
This hostel is a family project founded around the idea of having a solid, sustainable community. Nikki, a self described amateur carpenter responsible for at the very least the windows at the cabins, left the UK and moved to Colombia some 18 years ago. She met and married Mauricio, a Colombian, specifically cachaco, who makes mean arepas and will share a view of a world kinder than our current one.
